In a case against the BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and his wife Zubaida Rahman that the Anti-Corruption Commission brought in 2007, a court in Dhaka on Thursday set August 2 for the delivery of judgment.
Judge Md Asaduzzaman of the Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge`s Court scheduled the date for the judgement to be announced following the closing arguments.
The charging document lists the couple as wanted fugitives.
ACC Public Prosecutor Mosharraf Hossain Kazol told the court during the closing argument that they were able to substantiate the allegations made against the duo beyond a reasonable doubt.
